Hack Healthcare Slovakia is the first major hackathon in Slovakia focused on accelerating change in healthcare. Hackathon is a scientific and professional event,  whose purpose is to find a solution for current problems in healthcare, either by  confirming correctness of current solutions and procedures or by questioning and disconfirming them or finding the best solutions to a given problem.

The hackathon will take place in Bratislava between September 23-25, 2022. We aim to stimulate a new level of creativity and collaboration to unlock the promise of digital technologies in the healthcare system. We bring together hackers, students, entrepreneurs and healthcare experts to create new solutions to improve patients’ lives faster.

We highly recommend you to form a team (3-6 people) prior to the hackathon. Each team member needs to register separately, under the same team name. It is advised to have a diverse team.
Participants of all academic and professional backgrounds are welcome. Project managers, IT specialists, data scientists, entrepreneurs, innovators and students who are interested in technology and healthcare.

You can still register as a solo hacker and we will try our best to match you with other solo hackers who are looking for a team.

Hack Healthcare will hold an Online Meet-up on September 21, 2022 at 5pm for registered participants and for those, who are interested in hackathon. During this short online event you will have a unique opportunity to learn more about challenges directly from experts, get recommendations and inspiration for your potential solutions. There is also going to be a room for questions. At the same time, you will have an opportunity to meet other “hackers” and build a team, or find new team members.

Thanks to our partners, hackathon is free of charge for registered participants.

You will need a laptop for your hacking. If you wish to bring any additional hardware (monitor, etc) you are more than welcome. Food will be provided on the premises (3 meals per day, drinks and snacks).

Accommodation is not provided for participants. Venue in Bratislava is very well located in the city center, so we advise you to find accommodation in the neighborhood if you wish to be comfy.
